Luke Combs, a sophomore at Air Force Academy, placed second in the men's seeded 5,000 meters in 13:50.59 at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Powered by Mediacom and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Combs improved from his previous-best 13:53.43 from April 1 at the Stanford Invitational.
